Services
I offer virtual therapy services services to young and mature women experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, or trauma. I also work with women who are negatively affected by societal issues that impact the well-being of all women.

If anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, or trauma, are holding you back, let’s work through it and reframe your experience so you can live life on your terms. Together, we will identify triggers, challenge negative thought patterns, and develop healthy coping skills.
I offer virtual therapy using Doxy, a HIPPA-compliant video conferencing service.
Virtual therapy may be as effective as in-person therapy. There are even some perks to virtual therapy! Picture it...skipping traffic and parking, getting cozy in your comfies, curling up in your favorite spot, and engaging in therapy from the comfort of your home.
Anxiety
Anxiety disorders involve excessive fear, anxiety, or worries that interfere with your well-being and ability to function. For example, recurring anxious thoughts and behaviors can have a big impact on your work life, school life, hobbies, or relationships. Some anxiety disorders have different symptoms and types of negative thoughts associated with them.
Stress
Stress is a natural, biological response to life’s challenges. However, you may react to some of these challenges more intensely, leading you to experience extreme and long-term symptoms. Even if you know how to manage stress, there are times when stressors have a greater impact and your responses may be more intense.
Depression
A sense of hopelessness, the feeling of being “weighed down,” and a loss of enjoyment in things that used to bring you joy — these are some common signs of depression. Unlike sadness, depression doesn’t stop after only a day or two. It can continue for weeks on end, interfering with your work or school, relationships with others, and ability to enjoy life.
Trauma
Trauma refers to your response following an event that psychologically overwhelms you, often resulting in shock, denial, and changes in the body, mind, and behavior. It has lasting adverse effects on your mental, physical, emotional, social, or spiritual well-being. Trauma that repeatedly occurs over time can have a cumulative impact. This is known as complex trauma.
Self-Esteem
Impaired self-esteem negatively impacts our ability to manage adversity and life’s disappointments. When our self-esteem is impaired, we feel insecure, compare ourselves to others, and doubt and criticize ourselves. We neither recognize our worth, nor honor and express our needs and wants. Instead, we may self-sacrifice, defer to others, or try to control them and/or their feelings toward us to feel better about ourselves.
Women's Issues
The notion of “having it all” puts tremendous pressure on women to work tirelessly, be self-sacrificing, not ask for help, and do it all perfectly. Women are tasked with the pull between motherhood and working outside the home. Today, the media is a far more powerful influence than ever before, sometimes taking precedence over friends, family, or other real women.
